Annie Louise McLaurin Perrell, 74, of Bear Creek, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 at UNC Hospice House in Pittsboro. A graveside service will be held at Sandy Branch Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020 with Rev. Mark Richardson presiding. The viewing room at Joyce-Brady Chapel will be open on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 10:00 am-5:00 pm for friends to sign the register.

Louise was born in Chatham County, on October 10, 1945 to Alice Francis Hicks McLaurin and Van Birch McLaurin.  She held several associate degrees and was a retired USDA Inspector. Louise enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing and being outdoors. She attended Journey Church. She especially loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Henry McLaurin and Lonnie McLaurin.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Webster (Jeff), of Bear Creek; son, Melvin Perrell, Jr. (Gail), of Bear Creek; sister, Ellen Stevens (Dwight), of Chapel Hill; brother, Charles McLaurin (Terrie), of Siler City; grandchildren, Christine Maness (Richard), of Bear Creek, Jamie Glass (Kevin), of Sanford, Stephanie Chrisco (Tony) of Bennett; great-grandchildren, Curtis, Avery, Adalyn, Zachary, and Zane, and a host of family and friends.
