Linda Jones Brady, 78, of Bennett, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020. A graveside service will be held at Fall Creek Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2020 with Rev. Edwin Moore presiding. The body will lie in state at Joyce-Brady Chapel on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 10:00 am-5:00 pm for those wishing to sign the register and pay their respects.

Linda was born in Chatham County, on June 15, 1942 to Robert Gordon Jones and Doshie Maness Jones. She was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church and had been employed with NCDOT as a parts clerk. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed working in her yard, going to the beach and shopping. Her greatest love was her family and spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, her son, Roger Brown; brother, Charles Jones; and a great-grandchild preceded her in death.

She is survived by daughters, Marta Purvis (Tony), of Carthage, Anita Brady of Bennett, Sharon Hussey (Randy), of Bennett, Tonya Saunders (Brian), of Bennett, and Lisa Cockman, of Carthage; sister-in-law, Trudy Jones, of Bennett; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

The family would especially like to thank Deborah Saunders for her excellent care during this time.
