Eugene Maness

Eugene Raeford Maness, 78, of Bennett, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 11 o’clock, at Beulah Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Dr. Neal Jackson presiding.

There will be no visitation. Joyce-Brady Chapel will be open on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm for friends to sign the register.

He was retired from the NC Dept of Corrections. He was a devoted husband, loving father and a proud grandpa and a great-grandpa.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Hilda M. Maness; son, Darrin and wife Amy, of Bennett; grandsons, Tyler Maness, of Robbins, Trevor Maness and wife Stephanie, of Robbins; great-granddaughters, Karsyn Lynne and Hazel Grace.

The family will speak with friends and family at the home and following the service in the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Beulah Baptist Church Building fund, 8454 Howard Mill Rd, Bennett NC 27208.
