Robbins: Mr. Warren James Kennedy 91, of 212 Etta Ln., Robbins, NC 27325 passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the home of his son Roger. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 2 pm at Bright Light Baptist Church where he was a member with Rev. Ralph Voncannon & Rev. Edwin Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Kennedy Family Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Mr. Kennedy was a Moore County native and was a WWII Army veteran. He worked at Robbins Mill and Ithaca. He was the son of the late Daniel & Mary J. Spivey Kennedy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his Wife- Dorothy Welch Kennedy and Daughter- Brenda K. Williams.
Mr. Kennedy is survived by Son- Roger Warren Kennedy & wife Lilac of Robbins. Grandson- Lee Hardy & wife Marie of Seagrove. Granddaughters- Shalana & Cheyenne Kennedy. 2 Great-Grandchildren- Hannah & Gabriel Hardy.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 18, 2013 from 6-8pm at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St., Bennett, NC and other times at the home of his son, 167 Etta Ln., Robbins, NC. You may offer online condolences at www.joycebradychapel.com
