Biography
Seagrove: Mr. Virlin George Deaton 65, of 4883 Benjamin Rd., Seagrove, NC passed away Wednesday April 4, 2012 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday April 7, 2012 at 2pm at the Riverside Baptist Church where he was a member with the Rev. Kenneth Bouldin officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Deaton was a Moore Co. native and was a retired truck driver. He was the son of the late Virgil & Emily Deaton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Brothers- Robert, Jesse, & Dale and Sisters- Lorene, Colene, & Nancy.
Mr. Deaton is survived by Wife- Joyce Williams Deaton of the home. Daughters- Vickie Overacre & husband Clayton of Siler City, Angela Deaton of Seagrove. Son- Travis Deaton & wife Sherri of Seagrove. Sisters- Barbara Campbell of Jackson Springs, Rosa Yearby of West End, & Gail Wallace of Robbins. 6 Grandchildren & 3 Great-Grandchildren.
