Biography
Vellon Hunsucker Craven, 84 of 2895 North Moore Rd., Robbins passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at her home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 11 am at the Needham's Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Cockram officiating where she was a member. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Craven was a Moore Co. native, and worked in Quality Control in the textile industry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Grady Craven.
Mrs. Craven is survived by: Daughters- Ann Miller and husband Arthur of Robbins, Peggy Prevost and husband Jerry of Ramseur. Son- Ricky Craven and wife Kim of Carthage. Brothers- Norvell Hunsucker of Robbins, and Jackie Hunsucker of Tennesee. 4 Grandchildren- Lisa Johnson of Troy, NC, Tonya Collard of Robbins,NC , Miranda Craven and Dalton Craven both of Vass, NC, 9-Great-Grandchildren
Visitation will be held Monday August 1, 2011 from 6-8 pm at the Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St., Bennett, NC 27208 and other times at the home.
