Tommy Pickard, Jr.

Thomas “Tommy” Edward Pickard, Jr., 74, of Rosewood, CA, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026 in California. A graveside memorial will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Rives Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor John Howard presiding.

Tommy was born in Chatham County on September 15, 1951 to Thomas Edward Pickard, Sr. and Foy O’Briant Pickard. He served in the US Air Force and retired from the US Postal Service in Roseville, CA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and two brothers-in-law.

Tommy is survived by his children, Ryan Pickard, of Roseville, CA and Elena Pickard (Kevin Yonto), of CA; sisters, Diane McMasters (Jerry), of Asheboro, Kay Pickard Clark, of Goldson and Peggy P. Beavers, of Bear Creek; grandchildren, Kaia Yonto and Logan Yonto and a host of family and friends.
