Timothy Cox

Mr. Timothy Rupert Gallagher Cox, 55, of Bennett, N.C., died Thursday, February 15, 2018. The Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Christian Church with Pastor Don Edwards presiding.  The family will receive friends following the Memorial Service in the Fellowship Hall.

Timothy was born in Randolph County on February 2, 1963 to Clifford Ray Cox and Betty Stokes. A lifelong resident of Bennett, Timothy was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked as a Consultant in Food and Sanitation Services. He loved the Food Industry-Processing, World History, reading, and movie classics.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Ray Cox, and his grandson, Liam James Cox. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Stone Cox of Bennett, N.C.; mother, Betty Stokes of Carolina Beach, N.C.; sons, Matthew Shawn Cox and wife, Cassandra of Carthage; Seth Winfred Dewey Cox of Bennett, N.C.: 1 grandchild, Maya M. Doty Cox and a host of family and friends.
