Patti Oates

Liberty: Patti Talent Oates 56, of 6093 Old Hwy 421, Liberty, NC 27298 passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at her home.
Mrs. Oates was a Stanly Co. native and had worked in the textile industry.
She is survived by Husband- Bill Oates of Bennett. Sons- Billy Oates Jr. & wife Shannon of Bennett, David Oates & wife Wendy of Illinois. Daughter- Alisha Riggins & husband Jesse of Liberty. Mother- Katie B. Talent of Norwood. Brothers- Charles Talent, Michael Talent, & Roger Talent all of Norwood. Sisters- Crystal Talent of Exway, and Pam Cox of Bennett. 11 Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St., Bennett, NC 27208. A private burial will follow at a later date.
