Patsy Barker Owen

Patsy Louise Barker Owen, 78, of Asheboro, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 Lexington Medical Services. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026 with Pastor Ted Beane presiding.

Patsy was born in Danville, VA on September 18, 1947 to William and Pauline Myers Barker. She previously worked as a retail manager at Dollar General. She loved her job. Patsy enjoyed cooking, gardening and life in general. She adored her family.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Clinton Owen and brothers, David "Butch" Barker and  William Chris Barker.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Clark, of Reidsville and Clinton Owen, of Asheboro; sister, Donna Ann Little; brother, Donald Bennett Barker; two grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
