Michael “Chad” Cochran, 39, of Robbins, NC, formerly of Jasper, Texas, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at his residence.

Chad was born to Michael and Patrice Mahoney Cochran in Jasper, TX on March 1, 1985. He graduated from Jasper High School and joined the US Navy in December of 2004. He served 4 years. When Chad was stationed on the USS Ronald Reagan in San Diego, CA, he met Danielle Amanda Perry, who was also serving in the US Navy. They were married on December 1, 2008.

Chad was employed by Clayton Homes of Sanford, NC as a service technician. He had an excellent work ethic. He took pride in his work and it showed in the homes that he helped complete. Chad was well thought of and loved his work family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Patrick Mahoney, of Houston, TX and paternal grandfathers, Charles Cochran and Harold Patterson, of Jasper, TX.

Chad is survived by his wife of almost 16 years, Danielle Cochran, of the home; daughters, Kailynn Michelle Cochran and Paitynn Klair Cochran, both of the home; son, Kaiden Michael James Cochran, of the home; parents, Patrice Mahoney Meeks, of Brookeland, TX and Michael Wayne Cochran, of Jasper, TX; maternal grandmother, Georgie Bozeman, of Longview, TX; paternal grandmother, Lilly Patterson, of Jasper, TX; sisters, Chantel Smith (James), of Shelbyville, TX and Krystal Cochran, of Dallas, TX; brother, Joshua Vaughan, of Broaddus, TX; mother-in-law, Patrica Everett, of Seagrove, NC; father-in-law and mother-in law, James (Jim) and Donna Perry, of Robbins, NC; many nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters-in-law, family and friends.

A private family memorial is planned with ministers James Perry, of Robbins, NC and Burton Perry of Princeton, WV presiding.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Home Church Ministries, 656 Browns Chapel Rd., Robbins, NC 27325.
