Michael Albright

August 7, 1953 — July 23, 2014


Mr. Michael Nathan Albright, 60, of Asheboro, went home to be with LORD on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, S.C. .
The Celebration of Life will be held Monday, July 28, 2014 at 3p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 909 Meadowbrook Road in Asheboro, with visitation from 1p.m. to 2:45p.m. prior to the service.
Michael was retired from the U.S. Postal Service with more than 30 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed the beach as well as working in car sales with his son and also insurance sales after his retirement. He served as a deacon at First Assembly and worked with The Royal Rangers and the Open Door Outreach bus ministry for several years. His great love was spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Nathan W. Albright and Lynette Ferree Albright as well as one sister Carol Hammonds.

Michael is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deborah Parks Albright of the home, One daughter, Melody Overby and husband Stephen of Asheboro.
Two sons, Jeremy Albright and wife Bethany of Ramseur and Jason Albright and wife Leah of Hillsborough, N.C. Six sisters, Barbara Walker and husband Odell of Ramseur, Chloe Sink and husband Mike of Trinity, Bonnie Edwards of Siler City, Cathy Allen and husband Rickey of Trinity, Doris Welborn and husband Renay of Franklinville, Donna Rex and husband Leonard, of Garner.
Two brothers, Lawrence Albright and wife Sandra, and Stuart Albright and wife Jamie all of Ramseur. Three grandchildren, Janey, Thomas and Linley Albright all of Hillsborough. You may offer online condolences at www.joycebradychapel.com.
