Goldston: Mary E. Bivens 83, of 1413 Roberts Chapel Rd., Goldston NC passed away Thursday February 2,2012 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.
Graveside services will be held Sunday February 5, 2012 at 3 pm at Goldston Cemetery.
Ms. Bivens was a Chatham County native and was the daughter of the late Johnny Frank and Nancy Swink Bivens . In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 6 sisters.
She is survived by her Daughter- Wilma Bivens of Siler City. Son- Joe Bivens of Snow Camp. Grandson- Anthony Bivens of Sanford. Great-Grandaughter- Desji Leigh Cline. Brother- Otis Bivens of Morganton.Several nieces & nephews. She is also survived by her former daughter-in-law & caregiver Emma Teague. Special friend- Jane Owens.
