Martha Gordon Fesmire

Martha Gordon Fesmire, 75, of Pine Knoll Shores  passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023. The graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Edwards Hill Friends Meeting with Pastor Josh Conrad presiding. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service. The viewing room at Joyce-Brady Chapel will be open from 1:00-5:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 for friends to sign the register.

Martha was born in Chatham County on September 25, 1948 to Lester and Louise White Gordon. She was a former tax-preparer. Martha enjoyed traveling and dining with her friends. She loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Fesmire and her daughter, Kristina Dawn Fesmire.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri Fesmire & Blake, of the home; sisters, Betty Lou Brewer, of Siler City and Nellie Cockman, of Bear Creek; brothers, Frank Gordon, of Staley and Herman Gordon & Judy, of Staley; grandsons, Tucker Kennedy and Hudson Cook and a host of family and friends.
