Mark Anthony Beals, 67, of Goldston, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at his daughter’s home.

Mark was born in Moore County on May 16, 1958 to Calvin and Mary Frances Hall Beals. He was a US Army Veteran. He retired as the Plant Manager at Jelliff Corp./LGM Division after 35 years of service and could fix anything. He loved working. Mark enjoyed going to the beach, looking at the stars, music and gardening. He was a music enthusiast of all genres. He loved and cherished his family.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by wife, Crystal Beals; sisters, Calene Beals and Susan Woodley and brother, William Beals.

Mark is survived by his daughters, Ashley Hensley (Jonathan), of Goldston and Whitney Beals, of Raleigh; step-sons, A.J. Auten, of Mooresville, Jordan Auten, of Maiden, Taylor Auten, of Statesville and Caleb Auten (Chelsea), of Wisconsin; sisters, Helen Link (Robby) and Elizabeth Kaufman, both of Denver, NC; brother, Sam Kaufman (Sharon), of Mooresville and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on December 27, 2025 at Meadow Ridge Baptist Church, 1173 Zeb Haynes Rd., Maiden, NC 28650.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Goldston Fire Dept., PO Box 527., Goldston, NC 27252.
