Margie Bochette

Mrs. Margie "Regina" Bochette, 67, of Bear Creek, N.C., died Thursday, August 4, 2016 at her residence. The visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at Joyce Brady Chapel in Bennett, N.C. . The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Garner officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

Regina was born in Gaston County, N.C. in 1949, daughter of the late Forest Thomas Bumgarner and Mabel Maxine Crook Bumgarner. She worked for 26 years at Hill Forest Rest Home in Goldston, eventually serving as Assistant Manager. During her life, she and her late husband Butch Bochette, loved to travel to the coast where they enjoyed much time fishing and camping with their family. They also loved vintage car shows. Regina was a member at Hickory Grove Baptist and enjoyed attending services as her health would allow. She was loved and will be missed by all that knew her. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Forrest Bumgarner, Jr. and Wayne Bumgarner.

She is survived by one daughter, Crystal Dean and husband Danny of Bear Creek, N.C. , Three sons, Tommy Sinnamon and wife Christy of Ramseur, N.C. , Michael Sinnamon of Bear Creek, N.C. and Mark Crain and wife Sabrine of Gastonia, N.C., Nine grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
