Lucille "Kay" Jordan

Lucille “Kay” Starr Jordan, 74, of Siler City, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026 at UNC Hospital surrounded by her family.

Kay was born in Chatham County on September 2,1952 to Fred and Louella Owens Starr. She was employed as a C.N.A. with First Choice. Kay loved to cook for her family and friends. She loved her family and cherished her time spent with them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raeford Jordan; sisters, Betty Brewer and Faye Starr and brother, Lloyd Starr.

Kay is survived by her brother, Bill Garner and wife, Patsy, of Siler City and sister, Debbie Porter, of Siler City and a host of family and friends.
