Louise Maness

June 7, 1926 — April 20, 2014

Seagrove: Mrs. Carrie Louise Moore Maness 87, of 4395 Maness Rd., Seagrove, NC went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 2 pm at New Center Christian Church where she was a member with Rev. Jonathan B. Burris & Rev. Jimmy Shirlen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Maness was a Moore County native and was a sewer in the textiles industry. Louise also worked at Mid-State Plastics where she retired from. She loved sewing, quilt making, baking, and had kept numerous children which brought her great joy. In addition to being a member of her church she also was a Sunday School Teacher, and a Girl Scout leader. She was preceded in death by her Parents- Rancie L. & Nora Scott Moore. Brother- Howard Moore. Baby Brother- Paul O'Neil Moore. Grandson- Shannon Garner.
Mrs. Maness is survived by her Husband of 63 years- Beauford Odell Maness of the home. Daughters- Lola E. Maness, Teresa C. Maness, & Devonna Atkins all of Seagrove. Son & Daughter In Law- Bruce L. & Leigh Ann Maness of Seagrove. Brothers- Rancie Lee Moore Jr. & wife Lydia of Asheboro, Roy Moore & wife Loretta of Robbins, Marvin Moore & wife Lorraine of Robbins, Dee Moore & wife Rachel of Seagrove. Sisters- Valleen Maness, Betty Garner & husband Paul, Wilma Davis & husband Lealon all of Seagrove. Step-Brother- Douglas Williams of Robbins. 4 Grandchildren. 8 Great-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 6-8pm at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St., Bennett, NC 27208 and other times at the home.
