Joyce Kresge Morris

Joyce Helen Kresge Morris, 81, of Siler City, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the Hospice House in Pittsboro, NC. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Siler City Presbyterian Church.

Joyce was born in Snydersville , PA on April 11,1943 to Arthur and Evelyn Storm Kresge. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Siler City. Joyce was a former retail associate with Mighty Dollar. She loved attending church. Her true passion was riding & training horses, enjoying the outdoors and all animals. She enjoyed decorating for Christmas and helping people by lending a hand and a hot meal and good conversation. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Morris and her son, Michael Capone.

Joyce is survived by her children, Phillip Pope (Cindy), of Pennsylvania, Robert Pope, of Siler City, Brian Pope, of Saylorsburg, PA, Mark Capone, of Stroudsburg , PA and Michelle DiMeo (Luigi), of High Point; three step-sons, one step-daughter; grandchildren, Don, Kira and Logan Pope, Mikey, Anthony and Nina Di Meo; numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren whom she loved as her own; sisters, Linda Bentzoni, of Stroudsburg, PA and Katrina Moore, of Silk Hope; brother, Lowell Kresge, of Snydersville, PA; and a host of family and friends that were always treated as family .
