James Weylon Williams

James Weylon Williams, 77, of Seagrove, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at his home. He was born in Moore County on August 18, 1945 to Leonard and Rosie Williams. James enjoyed taking care of his cattle and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Joshua and Joseph Biby.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Williams, of the home; sons, James Wesley Williams, of Carthage and Adam Williams, of the home; step-children, Kevin Asheworth, of Seagrove, Tina Scott, of Seagrove, Michael Asheworth, of Seagrove and David Asheworth, of Asheboro; 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a host of family and friends.

A private family service is planned. The family requests no visitors at this time.
