Irene Covert

Irene Brady Covert, 70, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at home in Bennett, NC. She was born on June 12, 1943 in Chatham County to Ruby Brady and the late Harvey Brady. A true and faithful Christian, Irene was member of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church.

In addition to her Mother she is survived and loved by her daughters, Sharon Freeman and Sherry Cook both of Eagle Springs; sons, AJ Covert of Cameron and Brian Covert of Bennett; her sister Sylvia Brown, brothers, Harold Brady, Wayne Brady, Michael Brady, and the late Gary Dean Brady. As well as five grandchildren; Ira Freeman and Jeffery Cook; Kensey, Kyler, and Connor Covert, and one great-grandchild; William JR Cook.

A celebration of Irene’s life will be held at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, 5946 Pleasant Grove Church Rd, Bennett, NC at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Christian Church or Hospice of Randolph County.

The family is especially grateful to the wonderful love and support shown throughout the community.
