George Brady

Bennett: George M. Brady passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 at his home in Bennett. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the Pine Mountain Friends Church in Bennett with Rev. Joey Greene, Rev. David Thomas, and Rev. Larry Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born in Moore County, Mr. Brady was the son of the late Roland W. Brady. He was predeceased by his loving brother, Jerry W. Brady.

Mr. Brady was a member of Pine Mountain Friends Church where he operated sound equipment and loved being a part of the congregation. He also loved horses, traveling, and fishing. He was a hard worker, and had determination to do any task, no matter how difficult.

Mr. Brady is survived by his mother, Myrtis Brady of Carthage; sisters, Cindy Hancock and husband, Mack, of Bear Creek, Wanda Brady of Bear Creek, and Rolanda Phillips and husband, Mike, of Carthage; brothers, Brad Brady of Bennett, and Donald Brady and wife, Cheryl of Bennett. He is also survived by 7 nieces and 3 nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 3, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham Street, Bennett, NC 27208.

Memorials may be directed to Pine Mountain Friends Church, 268 Phillips Road, Bennett, NC 27208.
