Fran worked as an Activities Director for Brian Center as well as in retail sales. She had a love for working with and helping senior citizens. Fran was very proud of the musical heritage and talents that she shared throughout her life. From singing gospel music with her brothers and sisters as the “Lambert Family”, to teaching her children to sing harmony in a trio, to learning to play the electric bass and upright bass after the age of 50, to sharing the stage with her husband as they played bluegrass music with friends – she was thankful for the relationships that music brought to her life. She was also proud of her family and took pride in their accomplishments.

During Fran’s lengthy illness, her faith and determination were an inspiration to many. The family would like to thank the following doctors and their staff: Dr. Todd Granger, Dr. Robert Pohlmeyer, Dr. John Fessenden, Dr. Byron Hoffman, Community Home Care and Hospice of Chatham County, and ComForcare Senior Services for the compassionate care that they provided to Fran and her family.
