Florence Testerman

Mrs. Florence Hash Testerman, 83, of Goldston, N.C., died Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at her home, following three years of declining health. She is now with Jesus, her Lord and Savior. The family will recieve friends Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Joyce Brady Chapel in Bennett, N.C. and at other times, at the home of Dale and Wanda Testerman.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Pine Branch Baptist Church, in Mouth-of Wilson, Virginia, with Rev. Stephen Stowe officiating. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the funeral on Sunday at the church. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.
Florence was born July 8, 1933 in Grassy Creek, Va., daughter of the late Albert M. and Dollie Roberts Hash. During her life she loved going to church, cooking, sewing and raising her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Testerman, sons Harvey Junior and Howard Neal Testerman and nine siblings. She is survived by her daughter Martha Testerman of Goldston, N.C. and sons, Dale Testerman(Wanda) and Sam Testerman (Charlotte) of Siler City, N.C., Mike Testerman of Goldston, N.C. and Charles Testerman (Margie) of Carthage, N.C., Sister, Lillian I. Hash of Independence, Va., Sisters-In-Law, DyEtta Hash, Faye Hash, Shirley Funk (Elwood) and Cora Lee Diamond. Brothers-In-Law, Bill and Clifton Testerman, 15 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 step greatgrandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild and numerous neices and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Rodney, Ray, Tony, Jeremy, Chad, Michael, Adam and Briar.
