Mrs. Brown was a Randolph Co. native and had worked hard all her life. She enjoyed flower gardening and quilting. She was seen weekly mowing her yard on her riding mower or on her cub tractor. She worked at Robbins Mill in her younger life and at Kelwood Hosiery Mill for 33 years. She and Grady always worked together to provide for the children & made sure we were at church whenever there was a service of any kind. She always enjoyed family get togethers. She talked to us and told us she accepted Jesus as her personal Savior around 11-12 yrs. old at Riverside Baptist Church and could recall several names that were baptized when she was. After Grady's death she remarried Coy Brown in 1987. They had many happy years together. She has lived at Tara Plantation for over a year.
