Esther Dunlap Hundley

Esther Mearl Dunlap Hundley, 81, of Robbins, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at FirstHealth Moore Regional. The private graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Union Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Chaney presiding.

Esther was born In Moore County on August 20, 1944 to Howard and Stella Rouse Dunlap. She was formerly employed as a waitress at Westmoore. She enjoyed cooking, canning, singing and life in general. She loved flowers and cherished her time spent with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Hundley; son, Earl Ray Hundley; two brothers, one sister and her son-in-law.

Esther is survived by her daughters, Cheryl K. Prince, of Franklinville, Donna H. Perry (Jim), of Robbins and Robyn R. Roberts (Bo), of Asheboro; brother, E. Ray Dunlap, of Robbins; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; special nephew, Jackie Ray Dunlap (Kim), of Robbins and a host of family and friends.
