Daniel Carl Dunlap

November 25, 1926 - July 21, 2013

Carthage: Mr. Daniel Carl "Dan" Dunlap 86, of Carthage, NC passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 at his home. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 2 pm at Glendon Independent Christian Church with Rev. Joe Johnson & Rev. Bill Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Dunlap was a Moore County native, and had spent his life farming. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting. Mr. Dunlap was an avid reader, and quick mind when it came math. He was a member of Glendon Independent Christian Church where he served as Deacon.
Mr. Dunlap is survived by Daughters- Sara Nell Dunlap Dull of Whispering Pines, & Iris Dunlap Davis & husband Gregg of Whispering Pines. Sons- William Dunlap & wife Jan of Robbins, Rex Dunlap & wife Laura of Putnam, & Tim Dunlap & wife Vicki of Carthage. Grandchildren- Quint Dunlap, Greg Dull, Robb Davis, Thadd Davis, Luke Davis, Lee Dunlap, Courtney Dunlap, Whitney Dunlap, & Christopher Johnston. Great-Grandchildren- Holden Dunlap & Damian Dull. Sister- Lynnie Dunlap Comer of Star.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 22, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St., Bennett, NC and other times at his home. You may offer online condolences at www.joycebradychapel.com
