Coy Lee Yow

Coy Lee Yow, 93, of Star, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at his home. The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Leach Cemetery, in Star, with Pastor Randy McLeod presiding.

 Coy was born in Randolph County on March 26,1931 to Norman and Lucy Kennedy Yow. He was a furniture builder and retired from McNeill’s Frame Shop. He enjoyed visiting with friends, watching old TV shows and life in general. He loved his animals.

 In addition to his parents, Coy was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Yow; daughter, Ann McLeod and sons, Eric and Kennith.

He is survived by his daughter, Kay Caviness and husband, Mickey, of Star; nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
