Bennett: Clara Coble Hammer 71, of 4857 Lewis Brown Rd., Bennett passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at Chatham Hospital in Siler City. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Pleasant Grove Christian Church at 3 pm where she was a member with Rev. Ken Huggins & Rev. Mark Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
Ms. Hammer was a Randolph Co. native and she had retired from ETI in Asheboro. She loved the beach, fishing, and just being outdoors. She also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter Lauryn, the love of her life. Ms. Hammer was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Eugene Hammer and her parents Denson & Myrtle Brown Coble.
Ms. Hammer is survived by Daughter- Tonda Pless & husband Brent of Conover. Son- Tony Hammer, of Bennett. Granddaughter- Lauryn Hammer, of Bennett. Sisters- Betty Jones & husband Howard of Bennett, Mildred Tally & husband Larry of Bennett. Brothers- Ray Coble & wife Genie of Bear Creek, David Coble & wife Sandra of Bennett. Numerous nieces & nephews that she loved.
Visitation will be held Tuesday September 18, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St., Bennett, NC 27208 and other times at the home of her son, 495 Lanes Mill Rd., Bennett, NC. You may offer online condolences at www.joycebradychapel.com
