Cindy Tysinger Jones

Cindy Lawanna Tysinger Jones, 64, of Bennett, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Joyce-Brady Chapel. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Maple Springs Community Church, with Rev. Ed Carter presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Cindy was born in Randolph County on April 4, 1958 to Clyde and Blanche Coble Tysinger, who preceded her in death. Cindy owned and operated C & S Home Care for 10 years. She previously worked in office administration in funeral service for 18 years. She was a past president of the Tri-County Ruritans, as well as, the Coleridge Lions Club. Cindy loved to travel, garden and crochet. She was an avid Virginia Tech fan and a dedicated supporter of Law Enforcement. She adored her family, friends, church family and her fur babies.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Steven E. Jones; brother, Clyde E. Tysinger, Jr. and wife, Sally, of Asheboro; brother-in-law, Randy Jones and wife, Christina, of Bennett; best friends, Ronnie & Eva Gunnell, of Asheboro; nieces and nephews, Bryan & Lindsay Tysinger, of Asheboro, Jeremy & Kelly Adams, of Hillsborough, Wesley Jones & Jacob Jones, of Bennett; great-nieces and great-nephews, Ellie Adams and Jackson Adams, of Hillsborough, Eli Tysinger and Connor Tysinger, of Trinity, Brayden Gordon, of Asheboro; Godson, Ben Gunnell, of San Francisco, CA and a host of family and friends.
