Charlie Hussey

June 11, 1930 — March 16, 2014


Bennett: Mr. Charlie Bee Hussey 83, of 220 Carlyle Rd. went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 2pm at High Falls Wesleyan Church where he was a member with Rev. Roger Riffe & Rev. Mike Holyfield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Hussey was a Moore County native and was a weaver in the textiles industry. Mr. Hussey was a Board member and past Sunday School Superintendent at High Falls Wesleyan. Had he lived, him and his wife would have been married 60 yrs. on April 17th. In the last few years he and his family have attended Crossroads Baptist Church. He loved to be outside especially in the garden, mowing grass, and hunting & fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents Causey A. & Janie C. Hussey, Sisters- Frances Maness & Nova Garner, Brothers- Joe & Robert Hussey.
Mr. Hussey is survived by Wife- Ester Britt Hussey of the home. Son- Brian Hussey & wife Sandy of Bennett. Sister- Willie Mae Carlyle of Lake Tillery. Granddaughter-Kitty Walker & husband Tommy of Robbins. Grandson- Jason Hussey of Bennett. Step-Grandson- John Needham of Robbins. Great-Granddaughters- Alyson Walker & Cerenity Needham both of Robbins. Great-Grandsons- Jessie & Jayden Needham
Visitation will held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 6-8pm at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St., Bennett, NC 27208 and other times at his home. You may offer online condolences at www.joycebradychapel.com
