Biography

Charles Clarence Warren 76, of 980 Talc Mine Rd., Robbins passed away Tuesday August 9, 2011 at his home.
A Memorial service will be held Friday August 12, 2011 at 2 pm at the Pleasant View Friends Church, with Rev. Don Luellen & Rev. Jacelyn Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Randolph Co. Honor Guard.
Mr. Warren was a Moore Co. native and also was a Navy Veteran. He worked in the Textile industry and one of his highlights of his career was training weavers. After retiring from textiles he worked at Ingresoll-Rand. Mr. Warren was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church.
Mr. Warren is survived by: Wife-Vera Powers Warren of the home, Daughters- Janet Dunn and husband Michael , Ann Hussey and husband Mark all of Robbins. Mr. Warren was a proud Grandpa of 6 Grandchildren including a set of Triplets, Adam Dunn and wife Cori, Taylor, Tyler, & Dillon Dunn, Lily & Landon Hussey. Sister - Rose Swaringen of Pinehurst.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the Church Fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials should be directed to: First Health Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Rd., Pinehurst, NC 28374 and Pleasant View Friends Church, c/o Greer Williams, 1071 Talc Mine Rd., Robbins, NC 27325.
