Bennett: Carrie Phillips Brewer 89, of 725 Clarence Phillips Rd., Bennett , NC 27208 passed away Saturday June 23, 2012 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday June 26, 2012 at 2 pm at Pine Mountain Friends Church where she was a member with Rev. Joey Greene & Rev. Robert L. Kidd. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Brewer was a Chatham county native and had worked at the Cotton Mill in HighFalls. After leaving the mill she worked at Southern Garment in Robbins. Mrs. Brewer especially loved working & planting flowers in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband of many years Mitchell Brewer.
Mrs. Brewer is survived by her Son- Howard Brewer & wife Linda of Bennett. Grandchildren- Kris Brewer of Mooresville, Teresa B. Miracle of Bennett. Sisters- Pauline Maness of Greensboro, Esther Craven of Asheboro.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 25, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St., Bennett, NC 27208 and other times at Howard's residence. You may offer online condolences at www.joycebradychapel.com
