Robbins: Ms. Berta Mae Brady McDaniel 80, formerly of Bennett went home to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 2 pm at Beulah Baptist Church where she was a member with Dr. Neal Jackson & Dr. Curtis Barbery officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Ms. McDaniel was a Randolph County native and worked as a Clerical Clerk in the Textiles industry and then later retired from Chatham Hospital as an ER Clerk. She was the daughter of the late Erastus & Cratie Ritter Brady. Her life was spent as a devout Christian and had a passion for looking after those in need. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband- Harold McDaniel, Sisters- Artie Teeter & Bessie Brady, Brothers- Lloyd, Bill, & Voyage Brady.
She is survived by her Daughter & Son In Law- Patricia “Pat” & Harold Clark of the home. Son & Daughter In Law- Michael & Joy Spoon of Asheboro. Grandchildren- Misty Clark of the home, Bill Micah Clark & wife Susan of Charlotte, Tiffany S. Ely & husband Rick of Asheboro. Brothers- Jerry Brady & wife Carol of Bennett, Joe Mack Brady & wife Lynn of Coleridge. Special friend- Ruby Robinson of Bennett.
The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church following the burial in the church cemetery and other times at the home of her daughter.
