Berta Mae Gardner Linnens, age 94, of Bennett, passed away Friday at Universal Healthcare of Ramseur. Services will be conducted at Bennett Baptist Church in Bennett on Sunday, May 13, 2012, at 4pm. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:30 till 4:00pm at the church, with Rev. Tim Strider officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She is predeceased by her husband Roland Linnens. She is survived by her Sisters, Alice Williamson of Pittsboro, and Wilma Stone of Bennett. She is also survived by her Brother Cecil Gardner of Ramseur. Memorials may be made to Bennett Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 91, Bennett, NC 27208.
