Ramseur: Annie Wavel Brady Lawson 92, passed away Sunday July 8, 2012 at Randolph Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday July 11, 2012 at 11 am at Parks Cross Roads Christian Church where she was a dedicated member with Rev. Randy Kelly & Rev. James Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Lawson was a Randolph Co. native and was a resident at Universal Healthcare in Ramseur. She was the wife of the late William Henry Lawson. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by Step-son- Alvin Eugene Lawson, & Step-Daughter- Peggy Lawson Arrington.
Mrs. Lawson is survived by- Step-Son- Grady Lawson & wife Helen of Ramseur. Step-Daughter- Doris Lawson Arrington & husband Calvin of Liberty.Daughter-In-Law- Mrs. June Lawson Peele & husband Claudie of Asheboro. 9 Grandchildren- Gina Young, Mike Lawson, Rita Smith, Ricky Lawson, Charles Arrington, Lori Katzensteins, Billy Arrington, Bob Arrington, & Brian Arrington. 18 Great-Grandchildren.
Mrs. Lawson will lie in state Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:45 am at the church and the family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. You may offer online condolences at www.joycebradychapel.com
