Rejina Maness

Mrs. Rejina Bare Maness, 68, of Robbins, N.C. died Sunday October 28, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Pine Mountain Church in Bennett, N.C. with Rev. Kyle Green presiding. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

Rejina was born in Chatham County, N.C. in 1950, daughter of the late Thomas Reginald Bare and Eva Mozelle Moody Bare. She spent her life raising her children and taking care of her home. Having a love for the outdoors, Rejina, alongside her husband and children, spent many cherished times at the lake “out fishing” her grandchildren and boating. She loved quilting, games on her iPad, playing golf and time shared with family and friends. Harley rides to the beach, lake or mountains was something she and her husband often did, spending time with friends at the seasonal rallies each year. Rejina loved life and people in general but her great joy was spending all the time she could with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law Mike Brewer.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Michael Maness of the home; children, Lisa M. Brewer, Chris Maness and wife Tiffany and Holly M. Foushee and husband Casey all of Robbins, N.C.; one sister and two brothers; three grandchildren; Dalton Brewer, Mason Maness and Mayah Maness and her “Fur Babies” Scoot and Baby and a host of family and friends.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Moore Humane Society P.O. Box 203  Southern Pines, N.C.  28388.
