Jimmy Hicks

Mr. Jimmy Wayne Hicks 51, of Snow Camp, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, N.C. .  The family will have a graveside memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Brush Creek Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Frank Taylor presiding.

Jimmy was born in Chatham County, N.C. in 1966, son of the late James Otis Hicks and Margaret Louise McBride Hicks. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for H & A Directional Boring for 26 dedicated years of service. He enjoyed Nascar racing, spending time with his family and friends and life in general.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. He is survived by his siblings, Sybil Warren and husband Jimmy of Siler City, Becky Vess and husband Harold of Rock Hill, S.C., Michael Hicks and wife Elizabeth of Siler City, Debbie Marley and husband David of Bear Creek, Jerry Hicks of Siler City and special companion Angela Johnson of the home and his loyal and loving dog, Sandi Jo.
