Shelia Moore

April 19, 1935 — August 31, 2015

Mrs. Shelia Mae Moore, 80, of Robbins, N.C., died Monday, August 31, 2015 at FirstHealth Hospice in Pinehurst. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday,  September 2, 2015 at 3p.m. at Brown’s Chapel Christian Church with Rev. Jeff Karnes and Rev. James Brewer officiating. The visitation will be held from 1 p.m. till 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery immediately following the service.

Sheila was born in Carthage, N.C. in 1935, daughter of the late Cary W. Patterson and Josephine Wicker Patterson. She worked on the belt line for Clayson Knitting. She was a member of Brown’s Chapel Christian Church. She was known for her love of cooking and gardening and for being an avid Nascar and U.N.C. Tarheel fan. Her greatest joy was time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and one brother and her son.

She is survived by Three daughters, Charlotte Moore Troyer and husband William of Robbins, N.C., Patricia Lambert of Ramseur, N.C. and Lisa Moore of Sophia, N.C., Three brothers, Lacy Patterson of Robbins, N.C., Ronnie Patterson of Arkansas and Dale Patterson of N.C.  Five sisters, Peggy Talbert  and Virginia Patterson both of Robbins, N.C., Gail Johnson of Seagrove, N.C., Connie Harrison of Pinehurst, N.C. and Shirley Williamson of Aberdeen, N.C.. Eight grandchildren and five Great-grandchildren.  In addition to flowers the family requests that donations be made to Brown’s Chapel Christian Church 608 Brown’s Chapel Road Robbins, N.C. 27325.  Online condolences may be offered @ www.joycebradychapel.com .  Joyce Brady Chapel of Bennett, N.C. is honored to serve the Moore family.
