Mrs. Sandra Hannah Pearson Walls, 69, of Bear Creek, N.C. died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C..
A Graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 3:00 p.m., at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Bear Creek, N.C., with Rev. Robert Purvis officiating. No visitation will be held for the public.
Sandra was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1944. She met her husband of 52 years, James, while he was on leave, serving in the U.S. Army in 1962. She took great pride in raising her family and entertaining friends. She loved to read and was very involved in Bible scripture.
Sandra is survived by her husband James of the home, One son, Jimmy Walls and wife Tammy of Bear Creek, N.C., One daughter, Bridget Kouba and husband Dan of Chicago, Ill., Five grandchildren, Christopher Kouba and Amber Kouba both of Chicago, James Matthew Walls, Kristin Walls and Brian Walls all of Bear Creek, N.C. and One great-grandchild, Kagan Walls- Moore of Bear Creek, N.C..
