Dorothy Maness

June 17, 1921 — May 5, 2015

Dorothy Anne Bray Maness, age 93, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at her home on Two-Mile Circle in Robbins. She was the daughter of the late Lee Noy Bray and Ava Lee Cox Bray. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband W. Edison Maness and brothers Curtis & Carl Bray.

Mrs. Maness loved to work in her yard, clean house, cook and make biscuits, but most of all loved her family.

A graveside service will be held 3pm Thursday, May 7, 2015, at High Falls United Methodist Church in High Falls with Rev. Tony Baurichter officiating.

Visitation will be held after the service in the church fellowship hall.

She is survived by Daughters-Doris Upchurch & husband Tommy of High Falls, and Peggy Cockman & husband Wayne of Robbins; Sisters-Henrietta Taylor of Bear Creek, and Maxine Honeycutt of Durham; Grandchildren-Holli C. Curry & husband Ben of Seagrove, Bradley Upchurch & wife Molly of Robbins, and Dana U. Greene & friend Greg Barnes of Lenoir; and several nieces & nephews
