Mr. Clinton Howard Seawell, 74, died Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. The family will recieve friends one hour prior to the funeral service. The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Putnam Friends Church with Rev. Billy Joe Brady presiding. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

Clinton was born in Moore County, N.C. in 1942, son of the late Oscar Lane Seawell and Marie Boyte Seawell. He worked in sales for Townecraft Cookware for 45 successful years . He loved the outdoors and was an active member of the Rascob Hunting Club. He was a member of Putnam Friends Church. Clinton loved people and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

He is survived by three daughters; Terri Martindale and husband Bradley of Robbins, Theresa Polston and husband Jerry and Tonya Ritter and husband Eric all of Bennett; two sisters, Doris Wann of Randleman and Carolyn Seawell of Robbins; three brothers, Lee Seawell of Slidell, La., Mickey Seawell of Virginia Beach and David Seawell of Asheboro; 8 grandchildren, Jared Martindale and Holly Martindale of Robbins, Hayleigh Smith and husband Dallas of Bennett, Scotty Polston, Lindsay Polston, Savanah Ritter, Curtis Ritter and Taylor Ritter all of Bennett; Two Great-grandchildren, Presleigh and Kinsleigh Smith also of Bennett and a host of family and friends. In addition to flowers the family requests donations to Hospice of Randolph County 416 Vision Drive Asheboro, N.C. 27203 or a charity of one's choice.
