Charles Branson

Mr. Charles Michael Branson, 57, of Siler City, N.C., died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at his home.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 1p.m., at Pleasant Grove Christian Church in Bennett, N.C., with Rev. Mark Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at Pleasant Grove.

Charles was born in Chatham County, son of the late Charles Manfred Branson and Ruby Brown Branson. During his life he enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and  was known for his kindness to others.

Charles was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Donna Applewhite.

He is survived by his mother, Ruby Brown Branson of Siler City, N.C., Two sisters, Deborah B. Saunders of Bennett, N.C. and Pamela Branson Brown and husband Jimmy of Raleigh, N.C. and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family requests in Lieu of flowers that contributions be made to Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery Fund 5946 Pleasant Grove Church Rd. Bennett, N.C. 27208.
