Barbara Duck

May 17, 1939 — July 13, 2015

Mrs. Barbara Brown Duck, age 76, of Frye Bridge Road in Clemmons, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. She was born in Moore County and was the daughter of the late Reid & Mamie Moore Brown. She was a member of Providence Chapel Christian Church in Robbins. Barbara had worked in the food service for many years, and had also worked at the Best Western Triad Inn in Lexington as a waitress. She had also owned and operated her own restaurants over the years. She loved to cook, dance, and never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Brothers-Luther Cox, and Ed Brown; Sisters- Doris Moody & Virginia Cox.

Funeral Services will be held 4pm Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Brown’s Chapel Christian Church in Robbins with Rev. Hubert McLeod officiating. Burial will follow the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6-8pm Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Joyce-Brady Chapel in Bennett.

She is survived by her husband, Everette Duck of the home; Son- James Campbell & wife Pam of Candor; Daughter-Dana Jackson & husband Michael of Candor; Step-son- Everette Duck, Jr of Lexington; Grandchildren-Scotty Campbell & wife Charlsi of Candor, Brandon Faulkner, Christy Faulkner, Michael Jackson, and Destiny Jackson; Great-Grandchildren-Six; Sister- Clara Leach & husband Dewey of Asheboro; Several nieces and nephews; and her special pets Rambo and Booger.

The family would like to thank Margie Morgan, and Barbara’s nieces for all the visits, food, and time they spent visiting her at Autumn Care in Biscoe.
